New Wildland Unit

On May 18, 2006, the Rodeo-Hercules Fire District took delivery of a new Type III Wildland Unit. The unit was purchased from Hi-Tech EVS, Inc./American LaFrance of Northern California in Oakdale; funding provided by Hercules Developer Impact Fees. This apparatus is a 2006 International fully-enclosed, four-door wildland unit which will be used for wildland, structure fire and strike team responses.
