It is time once again for the Pinole Fire Department’s annual Child Car Seat Check-Up Event.  As always, this is a free service provided by the Fire Department and our partner group John Muir Child Safety Coalition.  This year’s event will take place at the Target parking lot, 1400 Fitzgerald Dr., on Wednesday May 25^th, from 11 am to 1 pm.   

Our first hand experience as well as national studies show that over 80% of Child Safety Seats are installed incorrectly!  If you, or someone you know has small children (6 yrs or younger), please let them know about this opportunity to get their Child Safety Seat checked for proper installation.
