GENERAL STORY: All Concerned-
At 0141Rodeo-Hercules Fire District responded to a reported Grass Fire at the corner of 2nd and Garretson in the Town of Rodeo. Engine 75 arrived on scene of a wind driven grass fire burning in EBRP property. Engine 75 Captain requested three additional engines two from the City of Pinole and one engine from the town of Crockett to cover Station 76 in Hercules. The fire was extinguished by arriving personnel and held to 1 acre in size. No structures were damaged and no personnel were injured while extinguishing the fire. EBRP was notified of the fire and responded a Battalion Chief for investigation.

GENERAL STORY: All Concerned-
At 1456 Rodeo-Hercules Fire District responded to a reported Grass Fire behind 109 Dempsey Way in the Town of Rodeo. Engine 375 arrived on scene of a wind driven grass fire burning in and behind the County Housing Sub-Division, Spreading into the Conoco Phillips Refinery Open Space. Engine 75 Captain had his crew extinguish the fire threatening the Apartments on Dempsey Way while crews from RHFD and Pinole extinguished the spreading grass fire. One engine from the town of Crockett covered Station 76 in Hercules. The fire was extinguished by personnel and held to 3 acres in size. No structures were damaged and no personnel were injured while extinguishing the fire. Conoco Phillips Security and Fire Protection were notified of the fire.
