Cause: Suspicious
GENERAL STORY: All Concerned- E-73 reported smoke showing from a mile out. Upon E-73 arrival they reported heavy fire in the entryway of a single family residential home. Captain 73 established Sarah IC and started fire attack. Battalion 7 arrived shortly after 73 and assumed Command and confirmed that all occupants were out. The crew from E-73 extended 1 1/3/4” hose line to the front door and knockdown the fire. Engineer 73 established a water supply. E-69 arrived and pulled an additional hose line for backup. Q-76 arrived and was given the assignment of ventilation. The fire had broken through the roof and they conducted truck operations. E-75 established a RIC Team, and E-70 assisted with fire attack. The fire was brought under control by 04:48am. Extensive salvage and overhaul was completed and units remained on scene for approximately 2 hours. There was severe damage to the attic area and the covered front porch. No injuries to Firefighters or civilians. The fire is under investigation.
