Congratulations to Captain Jesus Garcia, who was selected by his peers as the 2024 Firefighter of the Year. Captain Garcia was recently promoted after being an engineer for two years, and he began his career with the Rodeo-Hercules Fire Protection District just two years prior to that. He has accomplished a lot in the 5 years he has been an RHFD firefighter!
